We are pleased to announce that there is now an MPAA and T.A.S.A. approved Theatrical Trailer for CHRISTMAS RIDE (PG), ready for cinemas to play before movies rated PG and higher, such as PG-13, R. As I understand it, the Theatrical Trailer has placement restrictions and is not to be played before G rated movies or movies specifically made to influence young children.
In addition, a California company experienced in shipping by day and date now has a limited number of copies of the Academy Award Qualified feature film, CHRISTMAS RIDE (PG), a Road Trip to Remember!, ready to send out once the movie is scheduled through Art Promotions. Please write kfrancis427@gmail.com to inquire and book this movie. Call or text 901 859-2319 to book movie into your cinema.

We're so excited!CHRISTMAS RIDE, a feature film produced by Karen Francis through her company Art Promotions in Memphis with the cooperation of Yarbrough Media Productions, is included in the official Reminder List of Oscar Eligible films for Best Picture. The article in in The Wrap at http://www.thewrap.com/oscars-announce-323-films-eligible-…/ The list is alphabetized, so scroll down, to see the full list.
Several of our actors looked cool as the Boys in Blue, our policemen in the scenes filmed at Tipton County Police Station. Shown here HARVEY WALDEN, TERRY BYRD, JEFF WARD. For these costumes the shirts and patches were ordered by Art Promotions from a special costume store known to Terry Byrd who also came through with police vehicle and lights. The Commandos showed up in stylin' camouflage shirts, jackets and guns on a freezing night. Pictured here JEREMY YARBROUGH, ANDY THORNTON, and STEVE JONES. KELSEY CHAMNESS, perhaps assisted by her Mom, created the St. Lucia costume for the international Christmas Traditions scene. DONALD BROOKS as wedding priest, wears his attire regularly I believe and the gown worn by SHELLEY VAN DE VOORT is borrowed treasure for the occasion. H T ALTMAN sports evidence of the roughing up he took at the hands of some toughs in the film with this make up job by SHAINA KINNEY. Also the sweater costumes worn by teen spirits BRANDON RAY CONNELL and DUSTIN HIGDON at the top of this page have hand applied additions to them on the back by Karen Francis. Below, are the soldiers in costume near the tank and include JAMES T. PERRY JR and KEVIN THORNTON, with H T Altman far left. Thanks for the Tanks, guys.

Four or five screenings daily. Cast member Russell Walden plans to be present opening weekend. Also screenwriter, producer Karen Francis will be there for the Q & A Friday and Saturday. ![]() This year some new variations on the posters for Christmas Ride were introduced. The one of Keri (played by Brittney Ham) driving was slightly favored over over a dramatic black and white version of her running in the results of a public poll. Other posters featuring additional cast members and may be seen on Facebook. The most popular YouTube spot video on the film has garnered over 18,461 plays to date. Trailer versions abound including a sketchy animated effect. Click to see Top Trailer. (It has 5241 plays.) More Cast interviews, Musician profiles and news were posted to the Christmas Ride blog. Announcements about the movie continue to be posted in LINKEDIN groups and on other social media sites along with some online advertising, and submission of press releases to the print media. Additionally, the Title Certification Report was received and a Blu ray Master Mix of the DVD prepared. A DCP version is being explored at this time for use in cinemas with digital projection systems. An entertainment attorney continues to review the comprehensive Actor and Location and Music Releases etc. to finalize Clearance for the film. As producer, Art Promotions, celebrating its 25th anniversary of making and selling "Paintings, Prints, and [now] Productions," continues outreach to the community and distributors with considerations of booking cinemas to open film theatrically in Los Angeles, New York as well as Memphis. Due to limitations on funds available for this family friendly movie, Christmas Ride is tied to local railroad tracks at the moment. We need a Dudley Do Right of Studio Acquisition to appear and rescue us from the train of Exhaustion and put us in the Passenger seat through Cinema Rollout and Distribution. Any ideas on this subject, or interest in playing this moving feature film in your cinema, contact Karen Francis kfrancis427@gmail.com. |
